Since childhood, I have always been fascinated with what seemed to be impossible: The way how ships were assembled inside such delicate glass bottles. Now that I have adequate knowledge of product design, I decided to make it a reality.
Throughout this piece, I have challenged myself to drift apart from the traditional route of assembling which consists of folding the masts allowing the pieces to be in contact to fit through the tiny hole. Which then gets straightened up by pulling the string attached.
Instead of using this method, I have made this bottle ship using sheet materials which has never been done before.
Although this came with cuntless number of obstacles, I loved overcoming challenges and figuring out possible solutions along the way.
